Exposure to the lesser known life behind-the-scenes of the Australian Ballet was the purpose of these diaries. The images are a new story – baggage of how things had always been done was left at the airport, as we headed to the Sydney Opera House to shoot backstage and in secret corners. The diary user can slowly absorb the beautiful photography, enhanced with organic typography and tactile uncoated paper stock. Photography by Hallie Burton and James Houston.
